Visit Preparation Advice

We appreciate that surgery can be daunting.

Knowing where to be, what to bring, and what to expect can help to remove any uncertainty you may be feeling.

Before your surgery date, and as a part of our pre-admission process, we make sure to connect with all patients via a phone call. This allows us to gather some further information about you, provide you with the information relevant to your procedure and attendance at ParkView Day Surgery, and provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

See the below advice and recommendations to ensure your surgery day is stress free.

  • On the day of your procedure please present at the ParkView Day Surgery reception desk at the time provided as per the phone call information provided to you on the day before your admission and one of our friendly reception staff will assist you.
  • You will not be able to drive home after your procedure. You will need to arrange for a friend or family member to attend with you or collect you after your procedure.
