ParkView Day Surgery understands that achieving eye health and optimum visual outcomes is a significant and valuable investment in every patient’s future. Your chosen doctor will determine the cost of your treatment.
Your payment options
Payments for hospital related costs are requested a week prior to your admission. This is completed with a member of our friendly customer service team.
Payment can be made using any of the below methods:
- Cash
- Visa
- Mastercard
- EFTPOS
- Bank Cheque
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- MediPay – applications are made by the patient independently and directly with MediPay. You can contact them here.
- AELC Laser Vision Payment Plan (only available to AE&LC patients for selected laser procedures) – applications need to be submitted with Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre directly.
What does my private health cover?
ParkView Day Surgery accepts rebates from all private health fund providers.
We advise you check with your private health provider to confirm if your procedure is covered, and if any out of pocket expenses can be expected. If you need assistance with information to help you do this, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 08 8274 7070.
For Laser Vision Correction procedures, it is unlikely that your health insurance provider will provide cover and you will be required to bear the cost of this independently. We would also advise you to contact your private health insurance to confirm this.
Finance can be arranged directly with MediPay for all hospital expenses or Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre offers their patients a Laser Vision Payment Plan option.

Payment plans are available for selected laser vision correction procedures for Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre patients. Further information is provided here. Applications need to be submitted directly with Adelaide Eye & Laser Centre.

MediPay is an external finance option for all procedures performed at ParkView Day Surgery to cover hospital related expenses.
